Unpublishable Papers is to be a repository of manifestos. It is a venue for rashly exposing how one’s sources have issued in one’s enacted perspective — I mean how one’s studying has resulted in convictions with practical and public consequences. I don’t believe that thinking or writing should be limited to ideas with immediately practical and public consequences, but I dislike the unwillingness of many intellectuals to reveal that they even have an enacted perspective. So to push back against that tendency I’m forcing myself to expose what I’ve come to call the body-posited aspects of my intellectual life. Please join me.

I will be personally deciding what manifestos get posted. Yes, I will be picky and partisan and faithful to my own commitments (if you want to advocate the things that I passionately oppose please do so — on your own blog), but don’t let that stop you from submitting.
