In the next few days, you may expect several interesting new posts: (1. a proposal regarding theological criticism of films; (2. a post about aspects of the genetic fallacy; (3. a fairly extensive review of Bruegemann’s Old Testament Theology.

I will also be announcing an important and exciting change for The Veil Away — not the web-design this time, but something deeper.

In the meantime, I offer the following list of tomes I plan to read in 2010, for those who find such things interesting. Any suggestions?

[Update: Thanks to Jeremy for suggested emendations: (1. Totem and Taboo first, for Freud; (2. Bruce Fink and Lacan's Seminars before Lacan's Ecrits.]

[Update 2: Thanks to Dave for even more suggested emendations: "What I Believe" by Ellul, before the other stuff.]

[Update 3: Further thanks to Jeremy for refining his suggested emendations: (1. The Lacanian Subject by Bruce Fink; (2. Seminars I, II, II, VII, XI, XVII, XX.]

[Update 4: Vru, my favorite anarchist, has suggested a tome pertaining to his interests. Why not? The Anarchist in the Library, by Siva Vaidhyanathan.]
